Fine Art Landscape Photography

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 20, 2001 - Cody, Wyoming - TimberCreek Interiors of Cody and Scenic Prints of Lander, Wyoming announced today that a portion of the Scenic Prints collection is now featured within the TimberCreek showroom. A special reception is planned between September 16-22, 2001, coinciding with the Western Design Conference, to introduce the Scenic Prints artist, Chris Robisch, to the public. Specific details can be obtained by contacting TimberCreek at (307) 587-4246 or Scenic Prints at (307) 332-1532. The reception has been planned for September to take advantage of the artistic atmosphere created by the conference.

TimberCreek Interiors specializes in high-quality Western furnishings and interior design. Located in the quaint mountain outpost of Cody, this refreshingly cozy and luxurious store has been looking to upgrade the finished art available to its customers. The fine art landscape photography of Scenic Prints is an obvious move in that direction. "While we wanted to keep the artwork within the store's themes of wildlife and western landscapes, we wanted to be able to offer our customers original signed images in the form of fine art photography", noted designer Mona Scott, one of three TimberCreek owners.

Initially, ten photographs are available, with more to be displayed during the September reception. Included, is the award winning "Rainbow Lying at God's Feet", which was chosen as one of 2000's best images by Photographers' Forum magazine. Captivating prints of Wyoming's Wind River Range, the Tetons, and Utah's Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument comprise what is now on display at TimberCreek. In September, Scenic Prints will add images depicting the landscape of the Cody area to the collection. These images will be unveiled at the September reception.

"I'm excited about the possibilities", Scenic Prints owner Chris Robisch stated emphatically. "It took only a few minutes inside TimberCreek to realize that our new relationship will be a great fit for all of us. I try to create beautiful images of the outdoors that are unique, inspiring, and comforting. It is quite evident that TimberCreek is also specializing in beauty and comfort, and utilizes many characteristics of our area's surroundings to do so. I look forward to a great relationship with TimberCreek for years to come".

"TimberCreek is thrilled and honored to represent someone of Chris' stature and talent", owner Lyn Simonton added. "We plan to invite the public to meet Chris and view his exceptional work at an informal reception during the Western Design Conference. We feel his photographs express the grandeur and serenity of the Western states and, in particular, the Cody area".

"While having an Internet presence (www.scenicprints.com) certainly has been a plus for me and my customers, I've been looking for this kind of opportunity for some time", Robisch explained. "Unfortunately, there are not many TimberCreeks or Codys out there; I consider myself fortunate. This new arrangement will help bring Scenic Prints to a larger audience and, I think, this is something that this 'new audience' will enjoy and, hopefully, take home", he concluded.
