Black Bear Pass of the San Juan Mountains in Colorado - July, 2006

This small creek is normally dry except during spring runoff or during a summer rain. There are few places on this mountainside where flowers do not cover the ground and it is fitting that something so tranquil replace wildflowers in this strip.
